For six years, I taught English and Special Education at the high school level in Boston. Now I am enthusiastically applying my teacher lens to web development.
As a classroom teacher, I loved designing curriculum and developing a variety of ways to support and assess my students’ skill development. I’m fascinated by how people learn and I enjoy breaking down complex concepts and investigating how individuals will approach the same task in different ways.
Now I am taking that skillset and using it to think about how different users interact with applications. As a former special education teacher, I am passionate about accessibility and excited about Edtech’s role in creating personalized learning experiences with more opportunities for students to receive feedback.
